Scott Pilgrim vs The WorldI finally saw Scott Pilgrim vs. The World last night!

The movie itself was hilarious and I enjoyed every minute of it. I would also say that the stand out star of the movie wasn’t Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, but was Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells who def made the movie for me.

The main complaint that I have is that the entire movie felt rushed, so rushed in fact that if I had not read the graphic novels, I’m not sure I could have kept up with the action.

I also felt like there wasn’t enough time for any kind of character development for some secondary characters such as, Stephen Stills, Kim Pine and even Ramona Flowers to an extent that made the book seem so rich.

Aside from those complaints, I disliked that what I felt was the main point of the book was left out. There’s a reason Scott is so confused and cannot remember his past relationships and the way the movie delt with this felt like a cop out

The movie itself is def worth catching, I actually plan on seeing it agian, but don’t expect the depth of the graphic novels, which i HIGHLY reccomend you read.

Sucker Punch

I’ve loved Zach Synder’s other movies and this looks to be just as promising!
